11/6/2009: Ready for AC/DC!

Skambankt will warm up for AC/DC on Monday, and they are ready, as you can tell when watching this clip!
As a summary: Skambankt are looking forward to the gig with a mixture of joy, anxiety and deep respect. Not so much because of the 40.000 people in the audience (it doesn't really make a difference if it's 10.000 or 20.000 - a lot is a lot, and of course it is great to able to present yourself for the biggest audience you can get in Norway), but more because they might actually meet AC/DC behind the scenes, which would probably leave them speechless. Even though some photos would be great, of course... Anyway, the big difference between Skambankt and AC/DC is that Skambankt sing in Norwegian, which is obviously the only reason why Skambankt aren't as big as AC/DC. =;-)

25/5/2009: AC/DC!

20/5/2009: Kom kom kom!

Yep, Skambankt are spreading the word about the new video for Kom Hell now! You can check out the translations of the MySpace blog entry and the news bit on in the official news section.
And thanks to Sophie-Amalie, there's some photos from the concert at Parkteateret in Oslo online now. Thanks a lot!

14/5/2009: Talking about no news...

... brings on the news, apparently! Check out the brand-new video of "Kom Hell"! It was filmed at Blæst in Trondheim in February.
Also, Månefestivalen in Fredrikstad has announced that Skambankt will play there in summer.

12/5/2009: No news is good news!

Even though it has been fairly quiet around Skambankt lately, their song "Slukk Meg (For Eg Brenner)" made it into NRK P3's C-playlist, which means you might be able to hear it on the radio, if you are really lucky! =;-)
Skambankt just kicked off their festival season with a concert at the graduate party at Kongeparken, and the next shows will be in Copenhagen and at a free afternoon concert in Stavanger, before the big festivals are coming in July.
And by the way, if you can read Dutch, check out the first Dutch review of Hardt Regn!
