15/12/2015: Vrede & glede!

Christmas is coming up, and so is of course Skambankt's annual Christmas concert! If you haven't gotten your tickets yet, you are too late though - the concert is sold out already. But as a small and slightly early Christmas present, Skambankt announced two more concerts for next year; in Gjøvik and Horten. Check out the dates here!

28/05/2015: Summer, skulls, and festivals!

Skambankt just confirmed most of their summer festivals on Facebook! (And if you have been checking the calendar, you already knew all those dates. *g*) Two more shows will be announced later.
The summer fun starts this weekend in Oslo at Mini-Øya, with a show together with "Trond med Hammer'n" - that sounds like it will definitely be different from normal Skambankt shows. So pack your kids (or find some kids that want to go) - adults are allowed in only when accompanied by minors!
Another really special show will be the concert at Ranglerock, where Skambankt will play their whole debut album "Skambankt" - and this will happen only at Ranglerock in Bryne, not at any of the other festivals.
So, it seems like it's the right time now to plan your summer festivals!

03/05/2015: Truth in a box!

It was just announced that there will be a tribute album - or rather album box set - for the Norwegian band Raga Rockers. 100 artists will contribute a song each to the box set "Sannhet på boks", and the covers will be released on CD and LP in November. Skambankt will be one of the bands that participate, and they will cover the Raga Rockers song Tid. For more information and to maybe get your box, see the crowdfunding project here. I strongly assume though that the songs will be released digitally as well, so that you don't need to get all songs if you only care about Skambankt's. =;-)

25/01/2015: Skæmbænkt!

Even though Skambankt expect 2015 to be a bit less busy than 2014, the calendar is already starting to fill up! This upcoming week, they'll play a youth concert in Oslo (without age limit), and in March, they will be all over Denmark - three weekends in a row. And for the last two weekends, they will actually join forces with Honningbarna. So if you're in the area, go get your dose of Norwegian rock in Denmark!
