| Ted Winters and his stonecold friends from Skambankt are out with their second long-player. Run and buy! "Eliksir" was released Monday, January 29, followed by a tremendous releaseparty at Mono in Oslo. The band itself was smiling from one ear to the other after a tight and concise display of resolute punkrock in the capital. And the gang has good reasons to smile, "Eliksir" consistently got great reviews in the Norwegian media, of course with the one exception of Kaizers-hater Thomas Talseth in VG, who gave a two-star-rating in complete opposition to everybody else. - New record Ted, how does that feel? - Great right now! You are a bit pressed and nervous beforehand when you sit and wait for the release and reviews, but right now, we are only happy. The next step will be to bring the new songs out to the people and play live. We're really looking forward to that! Check Skambankt on myspace. |
