2006/10/24: Skambra!

The only concert Skambankt did this fall is history, and it is worth remembering! Read all about it here, and if you are into... hmm, let's say... very "artistic" photographs, you might want to check them out here. But you don't really want that. =:-/
Anyway, we got a first taste of the new songs in Stavanger, and they are just "skambra"!

2006/10/23: Rockeliksir!

On Friday, Skambankt played at Checkpoint Charlie in Stavanger and delivered a hell of a show. Read the report here!
For news, there's still no fast date for the album release. Kick announced Jan. 29 for Denmark, but this is a first shot, and the date for Norway hasn't been set at all. Seven of the songs are already mixed and finished, the rest still needs a little polishing up. But from what we got to hear at the concert, we can definitely look forward!
The title of the album isn't set yet either. Candidate titles are "Eliksir" and "II" - in any case, there's gonna be a new logo for the album.

2006/10/8: Want a date?

No problem, here's your date: January 29, 2007. According to Kick Music, that is gonna be the date the new Skambankt record is released in Denmark. You can find all the info about the new album (well, there's not too much out yet, to be honest) in the category "MUSIC".
Also, I included information about who wrote the music/lyrics for each song in the lyrics section.

2006/9/26: Coming to a radio near you!

Skambankt have now finished the recordings of their new album. All in all, 14 tracks have been recorded, and now Skambankt only need to select the songs for the album and come up with some nice titles. Read what they themselves write about it on myspace.

2006/9/2: Jingle Bells!

According to a news bit on musikknyheter.no, the new Skambankt album will definitely be special:
Skambankt are currently preparing the recordings for their new album which will be released early next year. On Sunday afternoon, September 3rd, there will be uproar in the Rådhus tower with a self-composed carillon piece that will be used on the album. In other words, whoever should be in Oslo centrum that afternoon will get to experience something out of the usual.
