| Last week Thursday, Roskilde Festival -09 announced that Skambankt will play there this summer. We are happy to update our concert list and prepare for another tour between Risavika (Stavanger harbor, translator's note) and Hirtshals. VG and Dagbladet sent nice greetings after by:Larm this weekend, and they both awarded five out of six after the concert at Sentrum Scene. This is what Dagbladet writes: It is obvious that Terje Winterstø has managed to carry over the experience from Kaizers Orchestra to his pet passion Skambankt. A more or less groping garage band with some nice toys has turned into a self-confident and and well-oiled rock machinery. The older, more slogan-oriented punk-approachs are in good opposition to the band's more dynamic songs from the last record. Skambankt can quickly become one of Norway's most important rock bands that sing in Norwegian. |
