2010/05/14 In 2010, Skambankt are back with a new single and a new album!

After a hectic year 2009 and success with the album Hardt Regn, which debuted as number 5 of the Norwegian charts, and lots of touring at home and abroad, with the highlights of supporting AC/DC at Valle Hovin and a legendary concert at last year's Roskilde Festival, Skambankt are ready with a new single and a new album. This is the band's first release with Columbia Records/Sony Music, and it has been produced by the band itself at Athletic Sound Studio in Halden.
The first single from the upcoming album is called Mantra.

"We really found our form when we recorded "Hardt Regn" in 2008. We continued where we left off, and Mantra gives a good indication of what's coming. A new powerful, swinging, angry and melodic rock bastard is on its way. We cannot wait!"
-Terje Winterstø Røthing

Mantra will be digitally released May 17. It will premiere on the radio during NRK P3's "Popsalongen" on Friday, May 14, between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m.
