2007/02/06 Thanks a lot!

Skambankt's second album, "Eliksir", has been out in the stores for a week now, and the result is clear. The people want skambanking. So many have gotten their copy that it has resulted in a strong 8th place in this week's VG-list (the Norwegian charts). We thank all of you that have already managed to buy the album and hope that it'll be even more.

Skambankt.com asks our steady commentator, tank-driver, mentor and webmaster, Edgar from Klepp about how he feels on a day like this:

-How I feel? Have we suddenly turned into happy Christian cross-country skiers that _feel_ something? In that case, I'm deeply disappointed.

Huh? Disappointed that Skambankt - according to you - have become happy Christian cross-country skiers, or that they have sold enough to end up in the VG-list?

- Both. Where I come from, an 8th place doesn't mean a shit. I wipe my ass with 8th places. Only the first place is good enough. I always go for the gold. Gold, gold, gold! Apart from that, I don't trust people who are satisfied. Satisfied people miss perspective. It can always go better.

Thanks, I gotta go.

Skambankt enjoy missing perspective for a day and celebrate the brilliant record sales of the first week with four bottles of Cava. (You get 4 bottles of Cava, Spanish sparkling wine, for the price of one bottle champagne. The cork pops and the effect is the same.)

Only 11 days until the tour starts.
